Trying not to give up!

Posting Mad!
Does anyone else find it hard to stay motivated when you don't get the views or the subs?

I love making content it's so much fun but it is becoming more and more difficult to stay motivated when your stuck on 140 subs, and getting next to 0 views.

How do you all stay motivated, and if you have grown past this, how did you do it. What is the trick?

Give them (or a niche) what they want and you will succeed.

Quality and interest to the viewer are key. Maybe question your content and compare it against successful channels.

I'm not saying it's bad, but you need to use other channels and their techniques as a base line/measuring stick to work towards.

It takes time to grow, and we all start at the beginning, so don't give up.

To stay motivated you just have to realise that success is never presented on a plate. You have a lot to learn, and if others can do it, so can you. It's that simple.

What's wrong with giving up?

I always feel like people think its a bad thing, but sometimes its just what you need to do. What is going on in your life that you could put those youtube hours into?

And, there is a lot of wiggle between keeping going at the pace you are now and giving up completely. Why not take a break, or make a video once a fortnight? Change it up.

If youtube is for you then the motivation will come back, otherwise, you might find you need to move on.

Maybe consider taking a step back and a little break instead of giving up. Give yourself time to reevaluate and figure out moves to make and what might work. Good luck!

Have you considered trying a different niche? YouTube is a big place, but there is a lot of heavy competition with what you're presently doing.

I always try to remember that if the process of doing things isn't enjoyable, then the result of it isn't going to wind up being too enjoyable, either, especially when it comes to passion projects. I have a channel that, quite honestly, has little to no chance of taking off in a mainstream way (non-kids puppetry isn't exactly setting things on fire), but I absolutely adore making videos, so I keep at it.

Take a "pulse check" on your creative process and see if you actually like making videos, or if you're striving to make something that may never come. And if it's the latter, maybe it's time to find a passion you like doing, despite the results.

There's nothing wrong with giving up. Let's face it, Youtube have not done anything to motivate their smaller content creators for a very long time now! And since Feb 20th I'm considering taking down all my content and re-uploading to another, more appreciative platfform such as dailymotion.com

Nothing says you can't do both. I've got all of my new content going up to BitChute as well, mostly as a hedge against YouTube censorship, but nothing says you can't put your videos on every single platform out there.

I do not want to sound offensive here.

but your posts's signature "LIVING THE DREAM ON YOUTUBE!" I believe is totally wrong....

As far as I can see you have gone to Spain Australia and Paris.
You have two short films. And you have a place to vlog or
speak your mind in public whenever you wish.

Man. This is living the dream. Not posting a video you created
and waiting from your audience to approve or discover you.

In conclusion, you are living the dream and the gift of life.
Youtube is just a window to the world. Everyone got one nowadays...

Just my thoughts.
