Time Lapse Camera

Hi guys I have recently started a YouTube channel and recording Time Lapses. I use a panasonic lumix camera. Just wondered if there was any suggestions for cheap cameras or tips for making them :)
 
why not gopros (or equilevant)? they are relatively cheap. mount on anything and big advantage is that you can add a low cost stabilizer like wg2 with 360 rotation and time lenght definition. It is a low budget solution but it works for me as long as I wouldn't like to roast a dslr for (yet another among millions...) timelapse :) :P
 
I have to agree with the comment above. Take a look at a Hero 5 if budget is an issue. I think they might still have $50 off, at $250 there is a LOT you can do with the GoPro. Indoors and outdoors. The Hero 6 will cost a bit more, but they also have the trade in program going on for $50 off. It is worth checking out.
