Thoughts on Possible Logo?

So I've been working on "rebranding" my content: thumbnails, banners, artwork, etc, and was wondering what you guys think of a possible logo I've come up with.

I'm pretty much down as a "Minecraft" channel, but due to the HEAVY overuse of Minecraft related graphics, I try and make myself stand out where possible. I've never seen this concept before, what I call the "impossible bow tie", so I like it quite a bit. I'm nowhere near done working on it, but just was wondering what you guys thought of the concept. Thanks!
 
It looks OK, but usually a logo points out what it's a logo for. Nike has a swoosh for a logo, but their name is usually there too, yours just looks like a bowtie for nothing.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. This was literally just two impossible triangles put together, so I'll probably draw the entire concept out and see how it looks, obviously adding my stuff into it as well. Thanks for the feedback!
 
If you're going to use that as a logo, you might want to rebrand yourself as a gentleman, perhaps.

:D I might indeed young sir. (Cue gentleman voice) Perhaps a gentleman in the future might find this here piece of impossible perfection and be inspired to don the top hat. :)
 
When I first saw it, it reminded me as MKHB's logo. (Big tech youtuber). But thats the thing about logos, its kina hard to get it right when its not famous. Maybe thats just me.
 
I think it's a really neat logo and cool picture/illusion, but it doesn't tell me anything about your channel. How would you describe your channel in 1 sentence? Try putting that in a logo. Easier said than done, I know!
 
Hey, From a Graphics Designers point of view and the idea of branding is that:
Its versatile which is good.
Is it unique ? In a way yes but its so similar to alot of Logo's found around YouTube and other sites.
What does it have to do with your channel?? Not alot I would think.
Back to the drawing board in my honest opinion. Designers create dozens of different Logo concepts before getting a final product.
 
Thanks for all the suggestions guys! After drawing a rough draft of it, I think I will just go back to the drawing board with it. I've got some pretty cool other ideas though, so I'll probably look into those. :)
