The start - the middle - can it lead to the end?

Hay guys, I have a question. I have this other channel, it’s doing ok and has 1025 subs but still hasn’t hit the 4000 views and in all honesty I am struggling.

There is a fair few video’s on it and I have this theory.

The channel has never hit a huge amount of views and I have no idea why, maybe bad SEO (I literally struggle with it badly) but I think the old video’s, because not as good quality had an impact on word of mouth etc. Do you think this is a possibility? Can reputation, even for a small youtuber matter? I can’t link the channel obviously due to spamming but if you can assist with your thoughts it would be appreciated. SEO help would also be appreciated

Question is, how did you obtain those 1000 subscribers? Is it through means of sub4sub, only friends/family members, or through subscriber boosting services? If that's the case, then that's your reason why.

If they're natural subscribers, then it might just be that your content is not good enough.
