SOFTWARE, ACCESSORIES, AND TIPS FOR MAKING GREAT GAMING FACECAMS!!!

YTT's Parody Making Bear!
As a young Youtuber myself, I don't exactly have that much money to work on my videos. Instead, I looked around my computer and managed to figure out a way you can make Let's Plays with facecams easily.

First, here's the software that you'll need:

1. Windows Movie Maker (free download) or any other webcam software for Mac (for recording facecams.)
2. The game that you'll be playing (Call of Duty, Amnesia, Slender, Minecraft, Etc.)
3. FRAPS *download the demo version* (It's one of the best game recording applications out there)
4. Camtasia Studio 8 *try their 30 day trial out first* (One of the easiest video layering editors I've seen, making it extremely easy to create facecams.)

Also, if you are recording a horror game facecam, these tips might help you out:

1. Turn off the lights, nobody wants to watch a person play a scary game in happy light.
Scarier Feeling=Better Facecam

2. You'll need something to show your face in the darkness. I used a giant LED light that I had used during Hurricane Sandy when the electricity went out. Basically adjust it so that you can clearly see your face, but the back is still dark.

3. Put on earphones or headphones. It gives a much scarier vibe and creepier feeling, which gives the reader more enjoyment watching you freak out XD.

4. Make the game interesting! Add funny commentary and create your own characters within the game!

Hopefully this helped!

Enjoy :D

I wasn't promoting piracy, I meant to show that they both had free trails that you could use instead of buying the full version. -_- I don't pirate, and I use all software legitimately
Those trials are limited. So don't advise them to someone who is looking to get into making videos. Also, if it was legitimate, there's no need to say "wink wink".

*wink wink*, meant that you could use the trial instead of buying the full version. I'm suggesting this to beginners who don't have money to spend on good software so trials for that stage would be optimal. :/

That's not what it meant and you know it. If you meant trial, you could have stated it. And they won't make enough in one month to buy a full version

I bought both FRAPS and Camtasia Studio 8 with my own money so I don't know what your going on about. I used their trails for a month and that's what got me into making videos in the first place. Most people just go ahead and buy the software without using the most out of the trials first. I would never pirate and I'm not promoting it. *wink wink* is my fun way of saying that there are indeed demo's and trials for the specific software's I mentioned.

I'm not accusing you of promoting piracy, but the way that this was worded is a little bit unclear and could cause some uneasiness. I, at first glance, thought that this was promoting piracy.
