SHOULD I UPLOAD MINECRAFT WITH OR WITHOUT A TEXTURE PACK?

thanks for clicking!, well my question is in the title, i ususally use sphax, and i really like that but i got a comment on my first minecraft vid saying it was good but i shouldnt have used a texture pack.. also if i should use a texture pack, should i use sphax or do you have another suggestion of a tp i could use? thanks!
 
If the gameplay is not interesting it does not really matter if you use one or not. Well, some texture packs can make your FPS go way up so I guess it can matter. Personally, I don't like that SPHAX texture pack you have, but honestly it's up to you if you want to use it or not. I use a resource pack I made myself. It makes all in-game gui transparent, and I plan on adding different sounds to mobs.


What I'm getting at is, mabe you should make your own

i don't have any fps problems because of my pc, but i did seriously consider using shaders but as far as i know forge doesnt work for 1.7.4 right now? so mods dont work? maybe im wrong...[DOUBLEPOST=1390782277][/DOUBLEPOST]

i wouldnt know where to start to make my own honestly,...[DOUBLEPOST=1390782437][/DOUBLEPOST]originally i was going to have a seperate survival let's play with shaders... but now im considering doing my current minecraft let's play with old faithful and shaders.. what do you guys think?[DOUBLEPOST=1390782686][/DOUBLEPOST]do any of you guys know if shaders works with the current version of mc or which shaders mod is best.. could any of you guys help me with that?
