Should I quit?

Hey guys.
I've been doing YouTube for quite some time now (with shorter or longer breaks) and I'm pretty much at the same place that I was when I started in case of views. As of enthusiasm for making new videos, it's way worse, but it depends on various things. I think that pretty much all of my views come strictly from promoting on Reddit, which got me banned for doing it.
I've got 50 subs and pretty much 0 views without shameless promotion. It's rough, especially when I put great effort in a video and it gets nowhere. I know that I picked the worse genre of yt videos (gaming) for getting anywhere, because there are just so many of those channels, but I just feel that it's somehow impossible for me to get anywhere on youtube. Funny thing is that I don't ask for much. I would be satisfied with 20 views if I could get those without spamming every subreddit with my links.
2 weeks ago I've tried posting everyday for a week, because I thought that youtube would notice that. So I did. But youtube didn't care, even though I played the most popular game back then which was Outlast 2.
So here I'm today. My last video which I've spent 2 days shooting got 3 views. I'm pretty sure that one of those is from me for editing end cards.
So my question is, should I quit? Should I just give up? I sitll enjoy making videos (especially recording them), but should I if nobody is watching?
Sorry for long post, and thanks for reading it and giving me any advise.

Hello! I would suggest that you don't give up and carry on pushing. Views will come with time, carry on building your portfolio of videos!

You've invested a lot of time and effort into it and it would be a great shame just to leave it like that.

If you enjoy doing it don't give up.

Try something new change the way you currently post and label the videos? Collab with someone? I think your channel is great by the way! (Remember some people would wish to be where you are right now)

Keep up the hard work!

I took a quick look at your channel, and I'd say you should quit...not quit YouTube, but quit the way you're approaching YouTube. The content of your videos is hard to intuit due to the way you're titling them. YouTube advises you to put the most searchable information as close to the left of your title in the first 3 words as possible. So if you're making game videos (as a lot of your work seems to be based on), the name of the game is what people will search for, so put it there. Burying it late in the title where it will disappear in a browsing session won't work for you.

Part of YouTube is about making videos. The other part is knowing what people will search for and customizing your content or titles and descriptions to match the searches that average viewers (or very specific viewers, if you're in a niche market) will look for. Remembering that YouTube is basically a giant search engine that focuses on videos is super-important.

The "Should I Quit?" question is frequently asked on this forum. It is a very defeating question for not only the OP, but also other members. Therefore, the staff lock these kinds of threads. If you still enjoy making videos, then you shouldn't quit. Life is short and your time is precious -- it's best to make time only for the things you enjoy doing. ^_^
