Ok before you start going "NO NO NO" please read, I am skeptical about doing Minecraft Survival but I got 2 sides throwing me in different directions.

VIEWS SIDE:

We all know everyone and their Grandmother is doing Minecraft Survival, it's hard to gain exposure on it due to the abundancy of videos on it.

FUN SIDE:

I do enjoy Minecraft Survival, and would love to bring it to a series doing different things, I'm thinking to myself "f**k views" but at the same time I do want my channel to grow a little, but I find Minecraft Survival really fun, especially with different mods and stuff.

So what do you guys think? Let me know you opinions! :D

umm i'm not promoting myself here, i'm just making a point but if you look at my channel mods really really helped me, try to do cool mods that aren't being used by many people (try the WIP mods in the minecraft forums) like only 3 people were making solar apocalypse videos on YouTube when i was making my videos which meant i became friendly with the actual mod maker which helped exposure.

so put simply , try to play mods that you find cool but at the same time are relatively unknow , so you can grow with the mod if you understand my logic

Oh Yeah I've hap my experience with this, my most popular video on my old channel with going on 16k views was a Minecraft Mod Showcase! Thanks for your input, I'll try mods maybe! ^-^

Do what you enjoy; viewers can tell when you enjoy something. And when viewers can tell that you are enjoying yourself, chances are they will as well.

Maybe play with different texture packs and mods or on a server with other people. That might help views. Also, do tutorials for the mods/plugins you use. That really helps views.

I would suggest doing it with other people on a server, mainly because everyone and their mom has a minecraft survival series by themselves. But if you enjoy doing a survival by themselves then go do it. I had my own minecraft survival series but then it just got kinda bland...
