I've Got It
Hello.
Over the past month I spent a lot of time on YT looking at film making videos so I can learn and then know what I'm doing when I start making videos myself. The video that always catches my attention is when people make comparisons of footage shot on normal settings and in RAW.
Some people say they they can't see much difference or that they prefer the standard format but I see a HUGE difference. The footage looks so much better quality in my opinion.
So, has anyone got experience with shooting in RAW? What are you thoughts?
From what I see most of us on here use Rebels so we would have to get Magic Lantern to do it. Also, how storage intensive is it really? How much RAW footage can I fit on a 16GB card?

, that's the main advantage of shooting in RAW (apart from the better quality image). If you set the right picture profile you can completely change the look of your footage and for us beginners with not the best cameras and lenses I think it can really make a difference.
