Hello All

This is probably more useful to PC gamers Minecraft EVE Online Things like that. Well i found out about a great software that uses hardly any processor power or graphics power and does create a very good video output if you set it up correctly.

Its called Dxtory

Basically you load the software then minimize it and you get a screen resolution counter in green in a corner then you use a hot key to record i.e Ctrl R and then it turns red so you know its recording.

If you search for this on Google you will see there are some ways you can get it for free.

But check out my last video if you need a quality check.

Yeah its pretty good software but i think it robs quite a bit of CPU if i'm correct. I could be wrong
 
Yep, used this software for a while as Fraps was lagging me out. The one thing you have to remember is that for Dxtory it requires quite heavily on a good hard drive writing speed, much more than Fraps or other recording applications. To get the best results you need to have a hard drive of 7200RPM otherwise it might not be fast enough to write and keep quality (Thought I'd mention that before people tried it) :)
 
I've used Fraps before it's ridiculously laggy. I really like Camtasia, and I also like Microsoft Expression, but I'm still testing the quality on that one
