Rode Videomic Pro too far from subject. Cable recommendations?

Hi guys!

First, thanks so much for taking the time to read this. I'm using a Rode Videomic Pro on top of my DSLR with a 50mm 1.4 canon lens. Due to being quite zoomed in, I have to have the camera be quite far from me to achieve the look I'm going for. Do you have any recommendations on cables I could use to get the mic closer to me? I review shows, so I'll be in front of the camera 99% of the time (no moving around for me).

A cheap 3.5mm extension cable will work fine, I had one for over two years before it broke and it was a dirt cheap one. I have since went with a slightly better quality one at slightly higher price.
