Review my banner?

The banner looks pretty good I thought, apart from the grey background, which is a little boring and on my device the avatar pic is right over the writing.
The avatar covers like the first 6th of the template text area so if you move your writing along a little bit it will be fine. I am viewing on a tablet by the way but a lot of people do so it is worth sorting out.
The black background on the avatar pic kinda clashes with the banner, you could try putting a border or something on it or finding an image that goes better with the banner.
I also thought the d and o looked too similar to each other and stood out too much. I don't think them looking similar is a big deal but if you could put the white border on the inside of the letters I thing it would look a lot better.

It's a little bit plain, but it's a good start for a beginner.
The text is hard to read because you have those diagonal lines and then you have that horizontal gradient on the text. The text may also have to be a different colour, just because the bright turquoise is hard on the eyes.
However, it's a good start! Keep it up!
