Quick Question.

Hi all,

I plan on attending a couple of motorsport events next year (Some BTCC/F1/WSB etc) and I want to record some of the action with my own camera and upload them to YouTube. When I monetize them would I receive a copyright notice from the people who own the broadcasting rights?

Thanks.

Iain.

I'm not quite sure, maybe if you check youtube's terms of service or something it will tell you, just look in maybe the copyright section.

The one thing I dislike about youtube, if you even use a copywritten fart sound... They wont give you ad rev...
Really?? I knew that they wouldn't for copyrighted music, but how would they even find out where the sound came from and if it's copyrighted? Do some of their workers get paid to search for the little things like that?

Either workers or people who scour youtube (who have no lives) and report you and lie. I had a friend who made a cartoon, 100% original and mondo media claimed it as if it was theirs. Real BS. When I make cartoons, I post them on MANY MANY sites, not just Youtube. Take that YOUTUBE!
