Hey. Like you, I would love to have more professional lighting but just can't atm. If you get a good editor, such as Premier Pro, you can do wonders with improving the lighting. You can adjust the contrast to darken on lighten clips, as needed, or you can even adjust the color. In Premier, it's called the Fast Color Corrector. (There is also a Three-Color Corrector, but this isn't usually needed for vlogs. I have used it only once or twice--for very specific reasons.)
