Prime duration for gaming videos?

The max I have atm are 20 minutes but I know they are too long for the sort of commentaries I have. At the moment I'm experimenting cutting my 20 minutes into 2 x 10min segments to see if that could improve retention. If not I might consider 5 minutes x segments.

I often think about how long people want gaming videos to be. I know I like to watch gaming videos between 10-20 minutes (30 minutes sometimes). I think anything below 10 minutes doesnt quite satisfy my thirst, unless its something like...a CoD montage or something basic like that. But if its a "lets play" or something along those lines I think 10-20 minutes is quite perfect.

I usually lean more toward 15-20 minutes in my videos, but I'm wondering if that may be to long for some people, just because I enjoy watching videos that long doesnt mean everyone does...but then I see the more popular channels making them that long, so I guess people do like longer videos.

So what do you think, whats your prime duration you enjoy.
Cod montage would be 4 - 6 minutes. Lets plays depends on the game, cod maybe 12 - 20 minutes and that could increase overtime. Tutorials, however long it takes. Hope this helped.

Back when I first got the ability to over 15 minutes, I took a bit too much advantage of it, posting 30-40 minute videos at times. I've since died down with that and try to have my videos around 18 minutes now, a bit over 15 and a bit under 20.

I personally find no more than 10 minutes is usually what I want to both watch and record (post editing time). Although 15 minutes, if the video is awesome, is fine too.
