Hey guys, im new to this, my channel has been recently enabled monetization from my random private videos, so i suddenly got an idea to try to make public videos. However, Adsense has rejected my application due to certain reasons i do not really understand. Id appreciate it if someone can help me understand the guidelines provided by youtube.

  • You are only singing words of your favorite copyrighted song
I've seen so many videos of people singing certain songs. Those aren't banned? So what does this term mean? Is it legit for me to play parodies or cover of a certain song with 100% same lyrics?
  • You only use 30 seconds of a song or video clip
I have no idea on what this means...
  • Your video does not provide proper attribution or credits as required by a licence.
I have no idea on what this means.

  • You found a video on the Internet and you cannot prove that it's in the public domain
I have no idea on what this means.
  • Your friend's band wrote and recorded a song for your video and states in writing that you can use and make money from it.
Alright, What happens if i wrote the background music, or song myself?

Right, Next thing i may ask is samples of "what happens if i end up doing this? Is this legit?"
  1. Someone from my scenes is wearing a Nike, or Adidas, or (any famous brand) T-Shirt
  2. A scene of me playing a certain video game, and got ideas out of it. (note that the video game's sfx and bgm will be recorded as well)
Im on a rush right now, sorry!
But i really hope i can get answers when i get back.
All answers are really appreciated.
Thanks in advance ya! Love you!

You cannot upload anything you do not have direct permission to. If you created the music your self you are ok.

You are allowed to wear branded clothing in your videos.

Only certain games can be monetized and uploaded. Most games cannot.

Those notices are often a catch-all notice and not all of it will apply to you, but if you're singing a cover song that's your problem. Many people do it, but you can't earn money from it.

Alright, I hope you guys don't mind if j ask for more tips to prevent my videos from being banned
will anything go wrong in these kind of scenes?

1.a scene made in public...this means that there are many who arr unaware that a shooting is taking place, and they may end up being in some scenes without knowing it
2.a scene of showing the actors editing their own personal facebook accounts
3.scenes which shows your characters drinking beer, and beer name and logo is exposed

I'd go with a network over adsense directly in your case.

1) Fine again, they might file a privacy complaint if they ever saw it and didn't want the video up (You just delete it if that happens), 2) if you recorded it yourself, no problem obviously, 3) Fine. YouTube isn't Television.
