Partnership Vs. Self-Managed ?

Okay, so as we all know, chat was a great thing the other night. But one of the things we talked about lightly was whether or not I should aim for network partnership or just self-manage. All a network does is take your money and push you out to people. But what a few people don't realize is that some networks protect you from click bomb-ing 100%. Click-bombing is when someone makes a bot or tells someone to click your ads. What this does is raise a red flag with AdSense and may suspend or terminate your AdSense. Now, what I'm wondering is if I should take the bullet, get partnered by a network, or if I should just do it on my own. Does anyone have any knowledge on the subject?
 
Clickbombing is the main reason i tried getting my main channel partnered ASAP cause my old Vlog Channel got Click bombed and there is nooo way i was gonna let that happen to the main channel. So i Applied for a network alot sooner then i wanted... it's really up to you..but if your videos are already Monetized it might be a good idea to Try out for a network if your worried about someone Click bombing you..cause it SUCKED letting go of that channel that i had since 2006

NOT COOL! Sorry to hear you lost your channel to click-bombing. Do you think the cut they take (I'm aiming for 30%) is worth the protection?

it all depends on how you look at it...if you want that channel to make money i think it's worth it cause if you get click bombed that channel won't be able to make money nor will it be able to get partnered so you'd have to start a new channel.

Mmm, dang. That's kind of a hard call for me. At this point, I'm focused on the longevity of my channel. I love making videos. A lot. But 30% is a lot. "Hey, if I give you a ride to the store, I want 30% of your red bull." I just have a hard time handing over such a large chunk, but I guess it's all part of the ball game.
 
well and this is pretty sad really, but alot of people won't take you seriously if you aren't a partner.

yea man, i totally understand!......just for the future tho...never EVER let anyone take 30% of your red bull for a ride to the store!!!......that is a crime! *gets all mad and s**t*
