Hey guys...actually, a lot of this was good. I personally think you need a little bit more finesse and patience with your execution. Think about tighter shots. Your cuts were decent, but I feel like some of them were a little too jagged. For instance: the scene where the kid in the end wakes up with his alarm. It would have been a little smoother if there was one more cut in it before he walks into the kitchen. Like maybe a pan to his face as he picked up the phone, or an extra shot of his face, just so we know someone's getting out of bed instead of just a phone going off.
I think where this film struggles the most with is the sound editing, however. I think you guys should try and work on that in your next part. Try and get your audio in some software and fix the levels on the vocals, so they're not so all over the place. Take some background shots, for ambiance. Like, when the asshat kid who turns into a zombie, the grass was too loud at one point of the scene, then at another point, you couldn't even hear anything. I feel like it needed to be more consistent.
Oh! One last thing. Maybe we can get their names in the second part, so we start caring about the characters? I mean, it wouldn't be a big deal if it was just a comedy short, but if this is supposed to be a four part epic. You gotta invest in the characters a little more.
