Other ways to promote myself to get more subcribers

I have a handful of videos and only one of them got views like how I wanted but others didnt. What are good sites to promote myself and what are other video ideas... open to suggestions.. my youtube is.. imperfectly talented by the way help please.
 
Hmm well a good start would be looking at the channel link you have on your YT Talk profile. When I just clicked it, I got a message that said the channel didn't exist :/

Also, what do you make videos about? If it's very specific topic/niche, you could get follow larger youtubers in your space and get involved in the comments. Good way for people to get to know you & potentially subscribe.
 
"follow trends", always keep an eye on the news, do something related to it and add it to your tags, i have tested this theory over the years and it has not failed me, if there is a challenge gaining speed, attack it. Wanna know what is currently hot? Check reddit /r/videos. DO NOT CHANGE YOUR CONTENT, once you have a set audience for something, that's all they are coming for. I do not care and i lose subs everytime i upload something different XD
 
I just promote on ever social media. Twitter, insta, snap, facebook. It may seem cliche or easier said, but that's just how I do things. Keep at it. I know you can get those views. Be patient and be hungry (:
 
Thanks I appreciate the advice . I don't know why my link ain't working but the name of my channel again is... Imperfectly Talented .. I was always told to be myself.. But, I'll put a spin on it Lol

You didn't copy/paste your youtube name properly, the last character dropped off (the "g")[DOUBLEPOST=1473404166,1473403989][/DOUBLEPOST]I would reach out to similar channels like yours and check and comment (genuine!) on their videos. As they are in the same niche, they will probably check you out with actual interest as people analyse what others do and see their progress. Many people would say it's bad to do, but you got to start from somewhere right?
Just don't do it on other areas outside beauty, they will just comment back, watch 1 second of your video, leave and never come back.

I agree with the post above! Interact with people who are doing similar things, and get involved in your niche. I wouldn't reccomend saying 'check out my channel' though. If your comment is nice and sincere they will likely check it out anyway
