Network Trap?

TGN's standard contract is no lock-in, not 2 years..
According to their live chat, the standard contract is for 2 years. I chatted with them a few days ago.

joining BBTV instead of TGN will it make any difference in terms of CPM for gaming content and other stuff?
No, you're CPM should be the same no matter what network you partnered with since CPM is based on your channel's content and audience rather than who your network is.

^This, and "BBTV instead of TGN" - TGN is under the same MCN, BroadBandTV, so wouldn't make a difference at all.

After just being released from a very long contract (2 years, but I stayed for nearly 3) I'd say you can wait and be independent first.

Being part of a network has a FEW perks like music and copyright help (sometimes) but in the end, YOU are the one who makes the content that makes your channel grow. Promotion from MCNs is scant, at least in my experience and I've heard it from others as well.

A 2 year contract will seem like an eternity. Sharing your revenue early on isn't too great.....I'd try to get bigger then negotiate your revenue split at that point in time.

Don't join an mcn, it's not worth it and you can run an Adsense account and not have to share you money at all with an mcn. I find them to be rip offs
