Since it is suggested to to have a separate channel for each subject/category how to apply monetization for all the channels on the same account (For example if one channel gets monetized how to make other channels on the same account benefit from that)?

Well since each channel is a separate entity, each channel has to meet the requirements for monetization (subs, view time, appropriate content etc) and then apply. If accepted, you can connect all the channels to the same single adsense account. (You can only have one adsense account anyway. - Don't try to open more than one. )
