60 Seconds In Ireland

Flying a drone over Glendalough at sunrise was a truly magical experience. Seeing the mist rising off of the lakes and encircling the round tower and the golden rays of the sun lighting up the valley was a truly enchanting experience.

Glendalough or Gleann Dá Loch in Gaelige means the "Valley Of Two Lakes." It is a glacial valley in the Wicklow Mountains and is famous for being the site of an early medieval monastic settlement dating back to the 6th Century, started by Saint Kevin. There is a standing round tower on the site which dates back almost 1,000 years. It's the perfect spot for getting back to nature with it's hiking trails and incredible scenic views.
