Making Songs for People?

CaptainDelugo

Even Blackbeard is scared of me!
I am thinking of a hella crazy idea to start on my Wednesdays (every week or every 2 weeks.)
The idea is to create songs for people, yes you heard it right FOR people. People can send in applications to me with stuff about them included, under 1 circumstance, they are subbed to me.

I'd make a completely original and funny/comedic song about them.
Now, I like this idea of myself and I personally think it'd raise my sub count + people would enjoy seeing those songs but the problem is, it is not related to my content at all.

Do you guys got any suggestions or feedback to alter this? Or would you advise me to not do this at all?

Considering your not-so-serious approach, why not?
I would like to expand VGP to music reviews, cooking and classic Italian literature, so I don't see anything against your idea. Consider though people might subscribe only for the song, and then unsub after a week, but I guess you already calculated the risk.

Thanks Conso! I have indeed calculated that risk but I thought if people would see my content then they would perhaps get interested :)

You already have some music related videos on your channel so I don't see why this new idea should be a very big issue. In contrary. Letting people comment which kind of songs they want gives you engagement and shows you which songs may work fine.
