Making Facebook page, twitter and website for Youtube Channel

Hey Everyone

I just want your opinion/advice on things stated in title.

I am hoping to get my channel big someday with my team who will hopefully do videos for my channel as well.

I was messing around with my channel making playlist and thinking is it worth it to spend time creating things for a small channel.

Like we got a website but I not put time or space to fully make the website e.g. forums are unfinished, etc.

I now thinking to step right in and try find space/time for website and create a facebook page and twitter page for my youtube channel.

But main question is it worth spending time creating one which could not get used since I only got a small channel which only just recently started uploading black ops 2 videos.

So what you think, will people really be interested and join website, like facebook page and twitter page, etc or is it a waste of time since it won't be used?

i would but i would promote my twitter and facebook on other site than just youtube so ur bringing in more traffic
 
I think you are better off with a facebook page than website. People will like quicker than register an account and be active. People are already active on facebook & twitter and when they like/comment you will get viral viewers.
So yea creating social media increases your viewers. that's good =]
 
I think twitter should be the first step. It's the easiest to maintain and also allows you to make some easy promotions and alerts.

The website can come next, since you wouldn't really be expecting many people to view it without a sub base.

facebook fan page comes last, since you need FANS to have a fan base =P

So like advertise your twitter and facebook without advertising your channel on many sites like you advertise your youtube on here?

I guess so, I remember doing website for something else in the past and it didn't lift but with facebook they got account so they may just like it. That why I ask ;)

Don't you need fans for people to follow you on twitter? I also hasn't used twitter but looked at it and seen it quite good.

Yea guess you right about the website so I just might leave the website for me and staff since that who on it so far then maybe work on it in the future to make it for everyone. ;)
