Years ago I started using stumbleupon, and it was good for getting views but I don't think people use that anymore. And I had a growing subscriber base back then too, but if you stop updating/uploading to YouTube like I did or the content you deliver becomes stagnant (too much of the same thing) subs will leave [wouldn't you?].
But a sample size of 30ish subs is nothing you could draw conclusions from. Don't worry about a couple subs dropping, it could be spammers, it could be deleted accounts, who knows, who cares, you'll get others.
I'm going to give you honest commentary since you asked for it on your latest video (Day 21).
Finger was on the camera, but you realized that after watching. Do a test record before you start to make sure the lighting works and sound is fine.
Watch your intro, if it seems ranty, if doesn't tease or capture attention, reshoot it. If you screwed up and forgot something, redo it. Eventually you'll get so good at talking that it's natural.
If I was a first time viewer to your channel, I would've been gone 0:30 in because your ranting (sometimes inaudibly), mumbling talking about some calendar or schedule I couldn't find on your About page, video description, etc.
If you started the video around 1:06, it would've been a pretty cool video. You teased what was up by showing off the board and talking about how you found it. Then you film your vlog while skating down a road which is a pretty cool visual, albeit dangerous without a helmet, then with footage of you gliding down the road in first person. That's good footage, makes me want to GTFO of my chair and go DO SOMETHING.

The reference to other UK vloggers unnecessary, you don't want to send your viewers to them, you want them to STAY ON YOUR CHANNEL, at least until you're established.
At the end, quick "thanks for watching, subscribe for new videos every (monday, tuesday, daily, etc)"

it's a very annoying factor when you start losing subs, however its just the nature of the business. The best way to attract new subs is to get out there yourself and visit other channels similar to yours - leave feedback and in turn people may come to your channel and check you out. This isn't a sub for sub routine as you are providing constructive feedback.
Other than that you can look to do collabs, post on other forums and just remain as active as you can on forums that you use regularly. No easy way about it!

Just look back at your old videos and figure out what is the bad thing in the videos then FIX IT!!! I don't want to show off or something but my very first videos have the worst audio ever!! So I'm trying to make it better now, and well, it is just a little better now, but will be improved in the future!! Just fix and fix so your videos can get better and better!

Just keep making content, upload on a regular schedule and respond to your subscribers comments so they feel you're more of a friend than that dude on the internet they find enjoyable to watch.
