Just partnered with Curse Network!

Here's the thing about Curse, and why I like them.

Gaming YouTubers seem to have an inordinately high number of videos that get reviewed by AdSense if you are not with an MCN. I could be wrong, but that is my experience and its' the same for many people that I know. As a result, the unfortunate part is that for gamers, being partnered is superior to not being partnered. We're also in more copyright danger than many other genres because we deal specifically in copyrighted content. Losing a channel would suck, but you can always make another channel. Can't do that with AdSense, so its' best if negative things happen to have them happen on the MCN's account.

Now, those are my reasons for saying that gaming YouTubers in the general sense benefit from being partnered.

For Curse specifically, it's hard to argue with a month to month 90/10 split. You get inactive forums, some royalty free music and the occasional beta key which you could get online randomly anyways by just searching for a while because they never get keys early. They're a no frills MCN that you can park with for however long you want, enjoy being removed from the AdSense review and leave whenever you're done.

As I understand it, they don't actually make money. Curse the MCN is actually just a mouth piece and awareness platform for Curse the media company. They break even on the MCN, or possibly even lose a bit of money likely justified under marketing expenses.

Giving away a piece of your revenue is always a move to be careful of. However, of the possible options out there, Curse is a very safe one where very little can or will go wrong.

well said my man well said

For me all MCN are the same. Difference can be only in a revenue share and the contract. Thats all. Nothing new. The same perks, the same CPM (95% yes), the same support. MCN is outdated thing by my opinion. They do nothing until you are not big enough. I'm still amazed to see when somebody still considering them .
