Is it possible to monetize under this circumstances?

My channel is a confirmed partner, my country - Slovenia EU - is in the partnership program and on my monetization page - Channel > Monetization > Apply for monetization - I have the green circle checked out and next to it says: "YouTube Partner Program terms accepted". So does that mean I should be able to monetize my content once I get the 10 000 views and if my content is within the guidelines - or is there another requirement I could be missing out at this point?

Yes that sounds like you have set it all up properly to me. If your screen looks like what i've attached from within YouTube Creator Studio then you just need more views before they will review it and monetize it. I don't think it matters or makes any difference what country you are in, unless you had reason to think otherwise?

Oh my thank you for this! Yes my screen does look like this - although I don't have the two other green checks yet as I haven't yet requested Adense nor set any preferences... Below the first green check like the one on the atached pic - I have a red circle with "2" in it and says "Sign up for AdSense" and below that is a circle with "3" in it and says "Get reviewed". I don't have the third and fourth ones like those in the attached pic.
I assume those options pop up once I actually proceed with Signing up for AdSense no?

Hiya Broccoli, yeah they make you do them in order from what I remember. You could probably proceed and do the next two steps when your ready. What will your Youtube channel be about. I think I am a long long way from reaching the number 4 goal lol.. but i keep trying! You gotta try right?

You sure do :) You have to be a little unconventional and do content which is different than the standard video on that subject. My channel will be a mix of science pop with just a touch of social commentary.... I wrote quite a bit of material and now I'm in the stage of doing a little bit of research on the things I'm not sure about... Thank you for your help!

BTW I did a research on how to promote a YouTube channel and gathered information from approx. 35 different blogs and channels. I am planning on posting the results of that research on YTtalk, once I clear up some CR questions...
