Inconsistent Value of Clicks?

Hey guys,

I've noticed that some days a single click on my videos one day will be worth more than 1 or sometimes 2,3,4 etc. on another day. Why is this? Besides that one random click raising the RPM way above average, it is the same as every other click in terms of impressions and views (often less than other days). So why is it that 4 clicks on one day is sometimes not even worth a fraction of a single click on one day?

Thanks for the help!

Bump.

I would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this issue for me. I really don't understand why 1 click is sometimes worth more than 4 or 5. Thanks!

There is no set price for ads.

Advertisers bid the amount they're willing to spend and, when it's time for an ad to be played, YouTube displays the one with the highest bid...which can fluctuate greatly depending on the advertiser, time of year, location, and the main demographic who watches your video.
