iMovie uploads to YT end up out of sync

So I film myself playing guitar covers with guitar audio recorded via audio interface and the video taken on my Nikon. I edit the video and audio in iMovie and the audio and video sync up perfectly. However, once uploaded to YouTube the video and audio end up out of sync, almost every time. It is so frustrating as the video is absolutely fine when in iMovie.

Any help or comments as to what might be going wrong, and how I could fix it would be most appreciated.

You need to make sure that the FPS that you record in is the same as the FPS setting that you use in your editing software during post-production. If they are different, the audio will be out of sync.
