I'm pretty p****d...

I'm sorry that must really suck ;-; On the bright side, if you get super popular one day, you'll know you did it all yourself and not with the help of a TV show? (I'm probably terrible at making people feel better I'm sorry)

Keep up the hard word bro, and never mind the bumps along the road... At the end of the day it's all gravy.

And like someone else mentioned before me, vlog about it... :) or even do a collab with your friends (just for that).

I never thought about what I would do if I got asked to be on TV because of my YouTube channel, I don't think I would be able to do it! lol. I enjoy just doing YouTube for the fun and friendly interaction, not to be something big or be on TV because of it.

Bro, I would feel the same exact way... But you know what, just keep your chin up and be the best YouTuber you can be! You'll get your opportunities. So what if your friends got their's before you? A lot of people have been in the same position as you, they just got noticed quicker. Good things come to those who wait. Plus the way I'd see it is they get their's handed to them when you'll actually work for your's, they'll take it for granted while you'll actually be able to soak it in and actually appreciate the opportunities handed to you. Just support them while they get this one and wait for your's.

Instead of looking at the success of other start looking at your personal successes. I have a friend that got contacted by a show, he could become a host if it ever goes that far. But I recognize he has different skill-sets. Instead of feeling envy (he has been handing my a** readily in subscribers and views since day one) I support him. And in turn he supports me. It is a good relationship. The moment you start to feel resent for your friends success is the moment you should stop doing YouTube. It's not worth that.

Never compare yourself to others, it will only ever lead to dissatisfaction. Think of all the times you've been unhappy, aside from health and tragedy, a lot of unhappiness comes imposing a false standard on yourself. It's okay to learn from others but no good can come from setting expectations based on what's happened to others.
