An application for YouTube Space in New York, is submitted online.
But you must have 10,000 subscribers.
i eagerly awaited the day, last week, when my channel finally reached 10k.
The Y ouTube Space website continues to reject my online application, with the following error message:
" the email with which you applied doesn’t correspond to a YouTube channel with at least 10000 subscribers"
However the email is selected automatically by the Google interface!

My recordings only takes a small corner of my closet and uses no lighting, so I will never use Youtube Space. If I ever make it there, can I allow someone to use it instead?

Also, I read in here that the subscribers count might not show up correctly. Maybe, unlock it after the subscriber count goes higher for safety measure. The attached image is too small for me to see; but if I am wrong, sorry about that.

This in in NYC I assume? If its not far its probably worth trying to get in there, they got some good stuff I hear. Im no where near that point although I dont think I would need it anyway.

I hit 10K yesterday but also not qualified yet it says (although I have the subscribers and watch time required), maybe they have to do something in the backend first which takes some time?

This sounds like a "Google accounts" / "Google+ problem due to the way it handles logins.

If you are logged into several Google accounts at the same time and you switch between them via the interface top right of the screen, then that's probably the problem. I'd suggest you logout out of all your accounts except for the channel which has 10k+ subs.

obv don't delete the other accounts!
Just logout of them and remove them from the "switch accounts" list and try filling in that form again.

If in doubt, contact YouTube / Google support before trying this.

This gets reported on the YouTube Creator Community every once in a while. If you contact YouTube Support on the issue, you should be able to get it resolved.
