There is a big lesson I learned the hard way today.
So last week I decided to look into a company that I know does affiliate programs with YouTubers that are in my niche.
So I sent them my idea for my video and channel link and everything. I get an email from them...I'm approved. Would you like a personalized promo code? Would you like us to send you more "of this product" to review again?
So I stupidly put the days in to make a video. Now you have to understand, I make cartoons. There is HOURS of work that goes into those. I check my email today hoping they would be telling me my promo code was approved, please bring us customers.
Nope. Email says, sorry but we've decided to decline. We would love to give just you a code for 3$ off our product.
Are you kidding me?? Does this happen often? Makes me never want to do affiliate or promo stuff again.
Advice? Please!
