How to leave network partnership?

Hi guys. My friend passed down a youtube channel to me through google plus, but it is hooked to fullscreen for another 6 months in contract and since he can't leave I was wondering if I can leave since I am the new owner of the channel. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Like the others said, if you're signed and locked into a contract you must wait until the contract end terms unless of course anywhere int he contract there's an addendum stating for whatever reason you may leave. A contract is like the shackles a network has on a channel's foot, there's no going no where until it expires. Most people don't realize it but contracts are made in favor of the partnership MCM more than for the creator; that's why people have to think really hard before signing.
