Does anybody know how I could get my youtube channel more popular I try to upload daily but I don't get much views and I have next to none for subs. I was just wondering if there was anyway to make my channel more noticable?

I have noticed quiet a few things you could work on. This is all stuff you can take or leave. I'm just trying to help out not be mean to you.

Tips:
  • Shorter Intro video. I've been told this as well. You should probably cut your intro down to 10 seconds max or even less. If it's too long people will lose interest really quick. If it's quick and gets right into the video people will tend to stay.
  • Higher quality. I see that the highest quality you have is 360. A lot of people get turned off due to lower resolution. I would recommend trying to record in HD if at all possible or at least 480.
  • Shorten down your video length. I see a lot of your videos going on for 20+ minutes and I think that's a little long for a small channel. You should try to keep them in the range of 15 minutes max I would say. You could go even shorter like 5 minutes. You want to keep the viewer around for a long amount of time on your video. If someone sees a half an hour video or more then they will tend not to want to watch it. You could probably get away with longer videos when you get bigger.
  • Promote your videos. On here you have to have $25 YoutubeTalk Cash to be able to post in the video section to promote your videos. Talk to people around here. This is a lovely community. You'll meet some nice people who may even become your friends and want to work together to grow each others channels.
Hope this helps. If you have any other questions let me know. I'm more than willing to help out. :)

Well, if you're willing to spend some money our channel uses a program called Action! it cost about $50 it can capture your game-play in 1080p which is full HD. I'm not real sure about free ones because we never got into them. One we did look at was Screencast-O-Matic I believe it allows you to record in HD for 15 minute time periods. As for the intro shortening you could possibly try Windows Movie Maker or ask someone on here. There is a forum for Intro creation. You might want to look because there might be ones that want you to pay actual cash. I don't know if you could work up a deal for someone to do it for free and just give them a shout-out on your channel. Any more questions shoot them my way.

Thank you for the advice again but. Recording in 720p or hd isn't the problem when I use freemake to edit my videos it makes them go down in resolution. I record using fraps so its not really a big problem for quality and suggestion?

Hm, I'm not really sure. You could just upload them into YouTube and use the editor in there because it just takes the video and the quality it was captured with and will always upload it with the correct resolution. You might not have as many options as you would with a regular editing program but it is a solution for higher quality videos. I have Adobe Premiere it came with my laptop and it isn't the greatest. We were thinking about getting Sony Vegas some time. Until then I use Premiere every once in a while.

I was just wondering if there was anyway to make my channel more noticable?

1) Tease the viewer at the very beginning of each of your episodes with something cool they'll learn later in the episode. In other words, hook them at the start.

2) Make your intro about 2 to 3 seconds long and place it after your tease.

3) Focus your episodes on just one issue that will help the player and list that issue in your video's title. Your title should be what people using the YouTube and Google search engines are using for their search terms.

4) Cut down your episodes to five minutes max. 3 to 4 minutes would be better. The shorter, the better. Be as concise as you can be. You get no bonus for being long. In fact, if you're too long, people won't watch your episode.

5) Never apologize for not uploading a video after a long time. This only makes you look bad. Leave all navel-gazing for your bathroom mirror and not your videos.

6) Speak up. I had to increase the volume on my speakers to hear you talk. Now when I switch to another video, my speakers will blast at me until I turn them down. That negative experience you don't want your viewers to have or remember they had with your videos.

7) Why are you including "Episode #2" and such in your video titles? People don't search for that so don't put that in your titles.

8) Increase your resolution.

9) Commit to a release schedule and then keep to that schedule.

There is more you can do but right now you need to work on the above.

Good luck!

Nearly every gamer adds "Episode #x" to their videos, it's not for search it's to let Subscribers and people who visit the channel know which video is the earliest.

Also thumbnails are a big thing in catching the eyes of people, I see you have no thumbnails and your videos don't really look like something someone will click on.

Also you've only started 2 weeks ago. :)

Hey thanks That was actually really helpful but I was wondering what programs you would use to make a good thumbnail the thumbnail advice is actually very helpfull :)
