How much time do you spend editing?

For me it all depends on what kind of video im making.
On my lets play videos i barley do anything, i sync the sound and edit out some of the bad part but nothing more than 5-15 min.
On the other hand when I do commentaries, montages etc, I can easily invest 4+ hours.

What about you guys?
 
Hi! For my videos it take 4 days to finish one video.because i need to do animation. and also edit the voice over with the animation.
 
I do Let's Plays aswell, it all depends what happens in the video for me. For example, when there are a lot of funny random moments I just kinda make a short montage and add in some music and text or something. But for a typical video like my Far Cry 4 series I just sync, edit out parts where I travel or nothing important happens, smack my outro in the video and BOOM got a new video.
 
My funtage videos take 3-5+ hours just to edit a short 3-5 minute video XD Sometimes 6-8 minutes. I put together all of the funniest moments and throw in a ton of edits, transitions, sound effects, appropriate subtitles and music in certain spots, etc. It depends on the video :spin:
 
The funny thing is that once i start editing time just flies by, hours disappear,. Do you guys feel the same?
 
I overall spend 2-3 hour editing, and that's for simple stuff. If I want to do anything more complicated, it takes me longer because I need to figure out how to implement it.
 
i dont really spend that much time editing, maybe a half hour. I could do animation and stuffs, but my viewers always liked simplistic and entertainging
 
It takes me a few hours. Edit audio, edit video, etc. when I start using multiple angles, maybe add 30 mins to that. I enjoy editing, it keeps me busy! Haha
