How Much Difference Does it Make?

I'm posting this thread in the Video Editing & Recording section as I wonder - how much difference does a decent setup make to your channel, in terms of views, quality of content and viewer retention? I post videos in 720p from my phone with half decent audio, and I think that's enough for the time being, as it is much better than my previous 640p laptop footage with awful audio. Do you find you turn off from channels with lower quality video? Or do you find as long as it's decent quality you'll watch? Just curious at to all your views.

If there are similar videos, I'd prefer the higher quality one.

I would prefer to watch something that high in quality in terms of audio and video but also the editing. That kind of stuff get's you engaged but whether I would stay/subscribe or not depends on the quality of the content.
