Since i cant find this anywhere (might be because i didnt search ''deep enough'')

I was wondering how long did it take you to get noticed?

The mean reason why im asking this is because ive seen channels with ex. 347 videos and only like 400 views. But ive also sene channels with only ex. 20 vids and 10k views.

Now ive only started out recently so i cant expect much but getting a couple more views then 1 or 2 on videos would be nice.

This might be the wrong seciont of the forum to ask but oke :P
But is it all about the tags/title/description? or did you also promoted your video like a madman on all kinds of diffrent forums (wich i did....yet no reply in a single one and thats from a month ago). Or did you just kept posting videos untill you hit that right spot and got in some decent views?

There really is no times, it`s usually 90% luck 10% content

I got noticed quite fast. It differs from one person to the other. I uploaded videos (I upload my own content) that somehow had the magic of attracting views and people when my channel was starting out in the 1st year.

I don't know if you would consider me to be 'noticed', but I have been seeing a nice increase in my daily subs/views. It started about a month or two ago. I went from about 20 subscribers and maybe 5k views, to 197 subscribers and almost 17k views (now). It took me about 2 months since I started my channel to start seeing this increase.

The amount of videos makes no difference to how big you get. Quality > Quantity.

I was quite lucky really. Not that I am big by any means, but my channel starting ticking up almost straight away. You can't gauge time, though. Some channels grow mega fast (JennaMarbles and PewdiePie have several million after 2 years, OlgaKay has less than 1 million after about 5-6 years), some don't.

2 months? that seems pretty fast :O

Now with noticed i mainly mean getting in some views, i would just be happy with 100 views atleast :p

Yep, I'm still not noticed yet, but I've seen an overwhelming theme: just keep at it! I simply make these videos for fun. I do try to grow my channel, as I've been working on tags and promoting, but I'm in this because I love the process of making videos!

Not at all... I`ve seen people with great content go no-where yet people who got a shout-out from a friend or featured somewhere might go up instantly

The cream rises to the top, so to speak. Not trying to be negative, but almost every time I see someone say they have great content, it's totally average. YouTube isn't what it used to be, where anyone could put up a few videos and get a bunch of viewers. Now you have to be REALLY good at what you do, better than anyone else. If you are making videos that are truly better and unique from others, people will share your stuff with their friends. That's how people get well known - people sharing your content.
