How Long Till Monetized?

So I had hit 10,000 views, and so I signed up to get monetized. YouTube said they'd get back to me in about a week whether or not my channel was eligible to get monetized. It has now been over a month and no response, and it still says YouTube is reviewing. Did this happen to you? How long till YouTube reviewed your channel?
