How do you properly script a review? I want to improve on that kind of thing in terms of layout and where to take breaks in speech etc... more than anything. I take my reviews VERY seriously, there's no fun and games when it comes to reviewing, despite reviewing video games.
Writing the review itself is pretty p**s easy for me now but my current problem that I've noticed is if I script the review my way, which is basically just writing up a short version of a full review, it can end up fairly monotone because I'm just reading off a review, it's just paragraph after paragraph. The thing is I always try to ensure I cover all the right points & of a game and this can result in alot of writing, I've had full versions of my reviews that hit up to 9 pages long. When it comes to doing a video it has to be as short as possible too, I try to keep them around 15-20mins but if necessary I can go 30-40mins.
If I use dot points or shorter sentences to keep everything on 1 page, I end up being less monotone and more lively, but there's less struture and the problem is, I forget, miss points or facts and I can even rant which becomes a very big problem when you're trying to maintain a level of professionalism with a review. Even when doing the normal way I can forget points.
I always follow a specific structure but I need a better way that I can use that structure with a proper a script so that I don't end up just reading paragraphs of text.
