How do I convert my Iphone videos to mp4 to edit on my pc?

I am now shooting with my iphone and it is so much better than a digital camera. The only issue is I have not figured out how to edit the videos on my PC. I can transfer them to my pc but every online video converter says my files are too large to convert from .mov to .mp4. How can I move past this issue?

Try using shotcut to edit with. It accepts mov files

If you want to convert to MP4 you can use Handbrake, it also does a nice web optimized compression if the file size is very big.
