How did this guy get away with using one direction music? & why cant i post links?

if u go on youtube and type in "gIp8ijoAHtk" (why cant i post links?) you can see that he used one directions music all throughout the video. how is this possible considering his videos are monetizeD?

You need to understand the concept of monetization, just because his videos have ads does not mean the money goes to him, if the publisher claimed the video then ads appear anyway, the profit just goes to the music publishing company. So to answer your question most likely he isn't getting away with anything.

Possibly YouTube have put ads there because he doesn't own all the content, so the money might not be going to him. Also in order to post links, I think you need to be a V.I.P, which is 200 cash in the shop, you can earn cash by posting messages with more than 60 characters and threads like this!
