How can I leave Machinima without waiting 2 years?

Hi, I recently signed the Machinima contract on one of my YT channels. After a month I can tell I don't want to stay with them. I get little to no support, my CPM is crap and the ads displayed are not even relevant to my gaming videos.

I already asked Machinima if they could release my YT channel (I sent them 3 emails) with no response after weeks.

I really just want my account back so I think there's only 2 options left:

1) Make a video about how much Machinima sucks and upload it on my channel.
2) Upload movie trailers or some other copyrighted content and tell my friends to report it.

Should this make Machinima release my channel? I don't have any other options, as I don't want to wait 2 years.

you want to be careful about putting copyrighted content onto a channel.. really careful because they might try and sue you.. extreme but machinima are sad like that :') I would attempt to ring them... just talk to them over the phone it's more direct and they know you actually mean what you say that way.

Thanks for the suggestion unfortunately Machinima doesn't have a phone number to call and they will not answer my emails.

I wouldn't suggest the copyright thing, you could get a strike or get banned. Then you'd have to wait 6 months to get another partnership if you did get a strike.

You signed a legally binding contract... you have an obligation to abide by it... Idk... read the contract if you have a copy of it and see if there's a loophole... all contracts have one :D

btw can I have a link to your channel? :) as it's machinima I'm guessing you have a gaming channel ^_^

I understand what you mean. I'm still tempted to give them a chance, but as of right now it's starting to bug me about how little support I get. Apparently I need a dashboard before I can start releasing my Machinima on their channel, ya know... to gain an audience. Well, I've sent several emails to them asking them how to acquire this dashboard thing and yet I've gained no help. Most of the time they ignore my emails and/or don't reply.
