The title of this thread is kinda off putting, if you want a banner made you'll need to offer some kind of payment, otherwise graphic designers will not make it to you for free, they pay money to have the software and to learn how to use it as long with good creativity skills

You must have not looked around the request forums lately.. There is one I know that is doing some for free.
