Okay, so I posted a video agggeess ago with music. When I clicked on Audio it came up with song I wanted and I added it. Today i noticed I have a copyright sanction against my account- I thought if it was on there I could use it!? How do I stop this in the future? :'(

So the song was copyrighted huh? Sounds like YouTube is gonna have a black flag against you bud. The obvious answer is, well obvious............ Don't use copyrighted music.

I guess the only thing you can do really is email YouTube with an explanation, but I think you might be up against it with that. Maybe you could delete the video then send the email with a pleading case. If you monetized the video I think you may be out of luck.

I had a strike against my channel one time because of copyright infringement. All I did was took down the video after responding to them why I uploaded the video with good intentions. They almost always let you slide.
