Hello Guys,
I Have a 2 channels Viewers are mainly from morocco
Moroccan pranksters (1k Subs)
Moroccan Vfx Army (200 Subs)
-
Adsense is killing my motivation I don't even reach 0.4$ per 1000 views last month I only got a rpm of 0.26$ I'm highly demotivated by this ,
-
from 250K views monetized I only Got 70$ That's too frustrating
-
I want to now if getting a partnership would help me reach maybe a minimum of 1.5$ per 1000 views
I'm pretty sure I'll Hit more than 100k Views in my next videos so having more views is not a problem,
-
Please Help me
Thank you so much for reading this I wish I get help from you guys

Hi,
From your post, it seems like you're only doing YouTube for the money - this can be detrimental to the success of your channel.

In answer to your query, this looks about right. You should do some research into the best (and worst) networks before signing any contracts!
Ben

it's not about the views. it's the amount of people who click on the ads on your monetized videos. the advertiser will start a bid on your channel the higher the bid the bigger the cut, this goes hand in hand with the amount of traffic you have per video, once someone clicks on the ad you get your cut from the advertiser.

I wouldn't advise clicking on your own ads, that will most likely result in permanent ban.[DOUBLEPOST=1413396206,1413396079][/DOUBLEPOST]

I agree with this guy. you are more likely to be successful to make videos for enjoyment/ hobby rather than fame and fortune.

@Anas - Yeah those figures are very low. Are your videos in English? Usually non-English channels earn less because there are less advertisers bidding for spots. I doubt being in a network would alter that since most of them serve adsense ads anyway and you'd also have to give up a % of your revenue. Good luck.

Please stop derailing monetization threads with moral judgements.. This is the monetization forum. This is where people come to ask questions about money.

it's not about the money but too much efforts is done in those videos
I'm enjoying it and all but that's 0.26$ rpm though
if I joined fullscreen should I expect an increase ? I'm good with 1$ /1000 Views is that too much ?
Thank you all for the responses I do really appreciate that[DOUBLEPOST=1413400331,1413399706][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah it's non-English I think you're right advertisers in my country just began advertising on youtube this couple years I think there are less than 50 company using youtube, I thought if I joined a network maybe I get ads from foreign companies advertising for example web hosting (foreign ads = more money) then you said that they just use adsense's ads right ?

The vast majority of ads served from a network will be adsense, yes. If some of them claim to serve premium ads, then you should ask for proof and some sort of guarantee. To be honest I don't think you would earn more because a network will take a % share.

I had a quick look at your videos and yeah they are good lol, I think you will get a lot of views. Maybe when you have a few more videos, you could look for sponsors for your channel? That might be more profitable. :)

It is about the views :P

A click will cause the CPV to increase on that playback but all playbacks are monetized/ paid for anyway.[DOUBLEPOST=1413401190,1413400837][/DOUBLEPOST]There's multiple things that can affect CPM on YouTube ;

  • Viewership location
  • Demographics (ages 34+ don't pay as well)
  • Demographics (male pays lower than female)
  • Average Watch time
  • Short videos (videos under 1-2 minutes are unlikely to get high-paying trueview advertising, under 30 seconds and they won't show at all)
  • Devices (Mobile, Tablet, Console & TV is still far behind on the amount of playbacks/ impressions being bought)
quite a few more but they are the main ones :P
