Now, I haven't checked it out yet, but I'm trying to be optimistic that whatever they're doing with it will not be intrusive or force itself on its users. I'm encouraged to hear that they have drastically changed the look, feel, and functionality of the platform, and will try to have an open mind about it.

Its the fact that they originally got an unsociable guy to design it, which its why it didn't take off.

I understand that they don't just want to give up on it, but they should have at the very least rebranded it if they were doing a redesign. They should have shut it down, waited awhile, beta tested a newer design/functionality, and introduced it as a new product/service.
