Good free software for adding titles/credits

I use Windows Movie maker 2.6.

Yes, I'm a Neanderthal. But I still haven't come across another video editing suite that enables you to cut and edit clips so quickly without over complicating things.

The one feature it's lacking for me is flexibility with titles. I what a piece of free software that's very simple to use and enables you to but text/titles wherever you want on the screen with maybe some animation as well. I'm not bothered about it's ability to actually edit a video (I can do all I want in MM), it's just the titles I'm interested in

And suggestions?

I know of VSDC movie editor and Wax 2.0. Both do the job properly.
Also, I found VideoSpin and VirtualDub. VirtualDub is all rounder

Get the latest Windows Movie Maker....Its the best......For free....its the best you can get....unless you know how to do torrentz and other ways of piracy.....which i dont recommend

I have a Cyberlink Powerdirector 12....and still sometimes i use WMM for simpler video making...

What do you need fullscreen for? Just maximize the window and have fun ^_^

That's what I mean, program window doesn't maximise. Seems to have a fixed resolution, unless I have some weird Russian pirate version
