FRAPS pooping itself

Hey guys,
I just tested recording with fraps and audacity as usual but this with skype running so i can talk to a mate and we play, but fraps kept churning out videos saved every 2 seconds and they were either blank or just frozen? what's going on? is it to down to the low frame rate with using Skype? or what? what can i do? Because i want to record and play using skype so i can play with my friend like Seananners and gassy mexican etc all do?

i used fraps and skype all the time so ill just tell you how i have my fraps set up ( you can collab with me sometime also if you want add me on skype : Megabananafrog ) On general i have them all unticked apart from " Fraps window always on top" , then on the fps tab i have non of them ticked ( apart from the corner i want my overlay in ) on movies i have custom 35 fps set up loop buffer set as 30 seconds , record win7 sound as stereo and the rest unticked ( i also use audacity ) screenshot tab doesnt affect anything i dont think . i have 64 bit win 7 op system btw . Im not sure this will help but i hope it does :)
 
Its for people who i guess play games where you can get good multipliers , a 1 minute loop buffer means if lets say you kill like 30 people on a game but wearnt recording , fraps has been recording , but deleting as it goes along so when you hit the record button the previous minute is also recorded ( idk how to explain it ) so you get footage before you even clicked record !
