Finding Youtube Friends

I've Got It
I have one or two friends who make videos but I want more. I really want to surround myself with people who create videos. I want to find people who really love what they do. I feel like no matter how much I comment on videos or write on this forum, I still feel like I'm not finding anyone. Maybe I'm just bad at it talking to people, lol. What do you guys do to find peers just like you???
 
There are no YouTubers in my province (that I know of, anyway), so it's really difficult meeting people locally. I met my creator friends at VidCon.
 
Not sure if you mean like IRL friends but no... I have none either. How cool would it be to give each other ideas, help each other and just do videos together?! Haha, Vanoss Gaming lives off making videos with friends luckily for him :( But yeah I think having friends that have common interest are always good.

Yeah Ill be able to go to Vidcon one day, it looked like a lot of fun.

I feel like it would really help my motivation, sometimes I lose sight of my goals

You know the saying, you are who you hang out with. Of course being around people who are motivated and constantly doing the things you also love to do will push you to new heights. I'm wishing VidCon comes here so I can meet people in my area. I'll even travel to go to one of them honestly (if I had a friend to go with) :( Seems really fun.
