Feedback on some channel related artwork

Before showing the artwork, I'd like to state first off that I would like a first impression on the pictures, and an impression after taking a closer look, to see if there are any problems with it that aren't immediate, but noticeable in time.

First, the banner I got made for me earlier. You can click on my channel to view that in proper context, which I prefer to seeing it as just a picture.

And there's a thumbnail I just made, I'm really bad with making my own stuff, so this took me hours, even though it's simple and not overall well-done. Honestly I think it would look better with a black background and red text, but that simple change would take me hours to do and then I might wind up not even liking it.

If this thumbnail isn't well received, I may need to go looking for a thumbnail guy. Actually I might anyway, but if this one is fine, I won't need one for a while.[DOUBLEPOST=1395240450,1395192679][/DOUBLEPOST]I guess you can't edit titles on this forum, from what I can see anyway, but I also want some feedback on microphone quality.

I used a new microphone for part 46 of my playthrough, my opinions on it is in the description, but I could use some other feedback.


I would like feedback on the microphone quality by itself, and compared to what I used before to see which is better overall.

 
I tried some random thing in the settings that I read fixed the issue for some people even though I can't see why it would.

It's too bad I can't test if it'll work until I'm recording another part. Since when I'm testing it it seems to work fine no matter what, but clearly when I recorded last time, it didn't. And any time I look for anything relating to drivers, the thing says it doesn't have any drivers, and there are none available to update.[DOUBLEPOST=1395247884,1395245107][/DOUBLEPOST]I did another part, and although it seemed fine for the first few minutes I watched and listened to, I skipped ahead to the last couple minutes and there was the same issue, I don't know what to do about it now. I've tried all of the possible solutions I could find by searching.

So which is preferred? Good audio quality with random syllables cut off, or bad audio quality with everything clearly audible?
And are there any opinions on the art anywhere?
 
How's the audio quality on the new microphone in the next part?


I think this one is the best option and will be using it unless enough people tell me otherwise.

Also, still looking for opinions on the artwork...
